The New Yorker is ~y American magazine of reportage, commentary, critical remarks, essays, fiction, cartoons, satire and numbers published by Conde Nast Publications. It is well known in its commentaries on popular culture and eccentric Americana; its regard to modern fiction by the inclusion of uncivil stories and literary reviews; its exact fact checking and copyediting; its journalism in c~tinuance world politics and social issues; and its renowned, single-panel cartoons sprinkled throughout each issue.
